Digital Entity Resolution
Append, validate, and correct business domains at scale, with transparent confidence scoring and full corporate domain linkage.
Profound Networks' Digital Entity Resolution (DER) resolves the single most useful identifier for a commercial entity: its domain. Domain is an open-source, globally consistent match key that works where names, addresses, and registry IDs fail, which makes it a durable anchor for onboarding, KYB/KYC, credit risk, portfolio monitoring, and commercial marketing. DER programmatically matches each record in your file to the correct primary website, then returns a 7-character match flag string showing exactly which input fields (company name, street, city, state, postal, country, phone) were verified against that site's published contact details. You set the acceptance threshold: a marketing use case may accept a confidence of 6+, while a credit or compliance use case can require 9+. Where a domain already exists on your record (a "Gold" domain), Profound grades it and compares it to the newly appended domain. The Domain Acceptance Rules Engine (DARE) applies dozens of published logical rules to select the recommended domain and returns the specific rule that governed each decision, so every outcome is auditable rather than a black-box score. DER also resolves corporate structure digitally. The Ultimate Domain Library links parent, subsidiary, and brand domains into a single family under one Ultimate Domain, including entities with no physical address or legal registration. Employee eCount adds a deterministic size proxy built on counts of unique, MX-validated deliverable B2B email addresses across 53.9 million domains, not modeled estimates. Delivered as batch file or API. Built on 3 billion classified IPs and 200 million websites, refreshed quarterly. A typical engagement starts with a POC on a client file: in a recent client report, 83.19% of records were confirmed, kept, replaced, or added.Free trial and starter packMore information coming soon.
